Finally, I changed the Bayliss MK7 replacement tube. Replacing was surprisingly Easy and straightforward, Working Good, just in time for our 90 degree weather.

These Bayliss vent openers came with our greenhouse "kit" about 30 years ago. They really perform flawlessly for 7-8 years before the seal in the cylinder gives out. Replacing only the power cylinder seemed a more economical option, so I tried that. Surprisingly little cussing involved, only a few tools needed. The instructions were very good and very comprehensive. I'm happy with both the replacements and the costs/shipping. A recommended option to purchasing the entire vent opener.

We live in northwest Oregon and don't get high daytime temperatures this time of year. I wanted to keep the vents closed a little longer and target a daytime high temp inside the greenhouse around 85 degrees to counteract the nighttime temps in the mid 40s. This "orchid" opener does the trick. I rated it 4 stars because there is a single use disk that you must remove to swap out the openers. I would like to see a pin that could be removed as needed.

ACF Greenhouses was the only place I could find a replacement tube. I had some MK7 Bayliss auto openers but they were stored in the heat for a long time before installation and didn't seem to work properly. I read that it might be the tube. I ordered replacements and swapped them out, and now they work! Saved $ just replacing the tube compared to the whole thing.

Love it! At first I thought they were not working because it would get hot inside the greenhouse but then I realized not so hot to open the vents. These did open and not when they shouldn't such as in the winter with it cold outside. I like them.

These fit my needs perfectly and I really appreciated the extra instructions that came with. I will definately order from ACF again. Thanks for a great product and service!

The replacement cylinder for our greenhouse roof ventilator fits exactly. It was easy to replace using the enclosed directions, but most importantly, the product arrived very quickly.

The Power tube is an exact replacement and is great, but when I went to replace it, all the plastic bushings and washers fell apart in my hands from sun rot. It would be nice to have them included with the tubes or at least available at ACF. I tried to find something at the hardware store but no luck. I ended up purchasing them from Bayliss UK; it was expensive and time consuming.
