This is a great entry level programmable thermostat. Low price point and made well enough for my needs.

The first Roberts Thermostat came damaged internally. You sent another very quickly and it appears to be ok.

I didn't need the programmable option with the thermostat, it was not needed in our situation. The important feature was that the battery operated unit would function in power outages. Now that it's installed, it functions flawlessly. It's very straightforward and easy to set, it's just what we needed.
