The Univent allows solar powered control of top and side mounted window vents thanks to its dual springs. Univent window openers have an adjustable opening temperature of 60° F to 75° F and an 18" maximum opening which would be reached at approximately 20° to 30°F above opening temperature. Univent openers are made from corrosion resistant materials including aluminum and stainless steel. Univents also feature a unique quick disconnect feature on the bottom of the unit which is useful when using the opener with a cold frame. This model is recommended for use with Grow More, Solar Harvest, & most other greenhouse vents. Order more than one and save!
Univent Features
How does a Greenhouse Autovent work?A strong metal tube contains a mineral wax which expands with heat. This pushes a piston which opens the auto vent via a balanced linkage. As the temperature drops, the wax shrinks and a strong spring closes the vent and resets the piston.

Have used these 2 years. Completely satisfied. Intended for roof vents, but I install them horizontally to open doors on my hoop house. One got damaged accidentally by a neighbor so I replaced it. ACF Greenhouses gave quick service. Thank you.
We attached a Univent to a new cold frame and it is working perfectly. Thank you for a great product and fast delivery!
We love this product. Acf shipped fast. We will be ordering again.
I have used the uninvent for opening the ceiling vents on my green house for about 5 years I think. First order was through ACF Greenhouses. The vent is made in Denmark and is a high quality vent. Unfortunately the T-clutch broke on one vent so I ordered two more vents from ACF to have spares. Fast delivery. I do wish ACF would carry more parts for the vents. All I needed was the T-clutch which I ordered from the Company in Denmark to repair the one that broke. Actually that was all I needed. Still I do have the two new spares if I have an emergency repair to make.
These units work well - though some parts wear out after 9 years. They're worth replacing when needed!
